National Association of Students of Architecture, India (NASA, India) hosted trophies online at a national level for the pursuing Bachelor’s in Architecture across the country, the students of KLE Technological University won the citation for Mohammad Shaheer Landscape trophy – The Mohammad Shaheer Landscape
trophy is a collaborative trophy of NASA and ISOLA dedicated to Landscape Architect Mohammad Shaheer.
This landscape ideas competition seeks to explore the use of landscape as a medium for change, to revitalize and reactivate the public sphere within urban spaces. The team consisted of five members – Vinfred Ekios, Shruti Naik, Yuvaraj R, Rahul Wagamode, and Prajwal A G, students of the sixth semester.
The students were applauded for their attempt to design a landscape for the Dharwad Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences. The inlay challenge was to design a landscape promoting a balance between art, science, and nature. Amongst the 492 participants, students of KLE stood first receiving prize money of one lakh rupees.
The team embarked on its success with Unit Secretary Yash Barwal, Unit Designee Sameer Bellad, and Faculty Coordinator Ar. Abhishek Patil under the guidance of Dr. Vinaya Hiremath, Head, School of Architecture, KLE Technological University, Hubballi.
