Virtual Exhibition of Engineering Exploration Course Projects
KLE Technological University, Hubballi organized Prayog Vasant 2021, an exhibition of Engineering Exploration course projects by first-year B.E students. Showcasing the efforts put in by 400+ students in designing 91 projects and their corresponding learning during these challenging times of the COVID pandemic. We are happy to share that the event was inaugurated by Dr Vasudev Kalkunte Aatre, former head of DRDO and a recipient of the Padma Vibhushan award. The compendium for Prayog Vasant 2021 was released by honourable vice-chancellor Dr. Ashok Shettar.
The event was scheduled for 26th April 2021 between 6.00 PM and 9.00 PM. The inaugural event was held between 6.00 PM and 6.20 PM, which was telecasted live on YouTube and many other websites. The exhibition was split into two sessions: Session 1 (6.00 PM to 7.30 PM) and Session 2 (7.30 PM to 9.00 PM). Each session included 45 projects done by more than 400 students on 15 problem statements.
Prayog Vasant is a platform for the students to share their experiences with the world. Prayog Vasant also serves the purpose of peer learning for our students. The exhibition provided an opportunity for the visitors to comprehend the projects and interact with the students’ teams and their mentors virtually. A total of 10,000+ visitors from different locations visited the exhibition. The representations included the United States, United Arab Emirates, Australia, Germany, Saudi Arabia, and the United Kingdom.
