About Program

The Digital Electronics PG program offered by SoECE recognizes the need for the postgraduate to be part of research and development both in academics and industry. The focus is more on the industry trends in Embedded systems, Communication, and Signal Processing.

Program Overview

  • Have a strong foundation and ability to apply engineering fundamentals, modern tools and mathematics to conceive, analyze, design and implement solutions to problems in the field of digital electronics.
  • Have in-depth background to practice digital electronics field.
  • Have an understanding of the professional and ethical obligations of the engineer with awareness of contemporary issues, professional responsibility, impact of technology on society, and the need for life-long learning.
  • Have an ability to participate in team oriented open-ended activities that prepares an engineer to work in integrated engineering teams using modern tools and communicate effectively.
  • Have an ability to pursue higher education, engage in research and development activity and add value to the organization by continuous learning.
  • An ability to independently carry out research /investigation and development work to solve practical problems.
  • An ability to write and present a substantial technical report/document.
  • Students should be able to demonstrate a degree of mastery over the area as per the specialization of the program. The mastery should be at a level higher than the requirements in the appropriate bachelor program.
  • An ability to use modern computational tools in modelling, simulation and analysis pertaining to Digital Electronics.
  • An ability to work with integrity and ethics in their professional practice, having an understanding of responsibility towards society with sustainable development for lifetime.
  1. A pass in a recognized Bachelor’s degree in Electronics & Communication/ Instrumentation Technology/ Electronics & Telecommunication / Telecommunication / Electrical & Electronics / Computer Science & Engineering/ Information Science & Engineering/Bio-Medical Engineering / Medical Electronics or equivalent degree and obtained at least 50% in the qualifying degree examination.
  2. Candidate must have appeared for GATE or KPGCET and have a valid score.
