All the women employees are the members of the cell. The president of the cell is Smt. Asha Kore and Dr.Preeti Kore is the chief co-coordinator. The other members include two secretaries and 19 executive committee members. The executive committee consists of faculty members representing all KLE constituent colleges. The Cell is committed to enhance the well being of the women folk. Various activities are conducted to nurture their skill and help them uplift themselves. It provides the much required support to the women in distress.
The various activities conducted by the cell are classified into long term projects and community activities. Wet waste management, Health check-up camps, Skill enhancement workshops, Awareness workshops on gender bias and workplace harassment are few of the many activities conducted by the cell. For recreation and rewind the cell organises deepotsav, picnics and women’s day celebrations.
