4th Sem students won 12th rank in WiDS Datathon 2025

our talented 4th-semester students — Ankit Raj, Manoj K, Apeksha Barade, and Poorvi Angadi — secured an impressive 12th rank globally in the prestigious WiDS Datathon 2025, Additionally, our department demonstrated remarkable performance with 8 teams ranking within the Top 500 and 2 more teams placing within the Top 1000, competing against thousands of teams.

Mandya District Team’s triumph at the Senior Karnataka State Level Dodgeball Championship 2025

We are delighted to announce that Ms. Poorvi Ashok Angadi, a 4th-semester student from the Department of Computer Science & Engineering, played a key role in the Mandya District Team’s triumph at the Senior Karnataka State Level Dodgeball Championship 2025, held at Late Uday Chowta Indoor Stadium, Mangaluru. Competing among 12 women’s teams across Karnataka, Ms. Poorvi, along with teammates Ms. Purvitha UC and Ms. Likhitha, demonstrated outstanding teamwork and skill, leading their team to secure the championship title in the women’s division.

Paper Publication by 5Th Sem students at IEEE conference

Aisha Karigar, Samrudhi Patil, and Mohammed Qadir Ternikar from 5th semester of Department of computer Science Engineering and CSE(Artificial Engineering) have achieved a remarkable milestone by publishing their research paper: "Predictive Modeling of Metastatic Diagnosis Period in Breast Cancer Using MachineLearning”. This groundbreaking work was presented at the prestigious IEEE Conference on Engineering Informatics 2024 (ICEI 2024) under the expert guidance of Dr. Priyanka Gavade.

5th Sem students won a challenge of a 24-hour Hackathon at KLE-IT, Hubli

Our 5th-semester squad—Suhan Jamadar, Akash Halli, Abhay Patil, and Harsh Nesari—took on the challenge of a 24-hour Hackathon at KLE-IT, Hubli, and emerged with a cutting-edge solution!

They developed an innovative Full Stack + AI/ML-based Patient Record Management System that transforms how medical data is managed and utilized.This hackathon event was an incredible learning experience, blending teamwork, creativity, and tech innovation to solve real-world problems.
