Biotechnology is an interdisciplinary field merging biology, chemistry, and bioprocess engineering. Its primary focus is manipulating living organisms for industrial, medical, agricultural, and environmental applications. Our Biotechnology curriculum provides a strong foundation in the areas of microbiology, cell biology, biochemistry, and bioprocess engineering. It ensures that students gain a hands-on skillset applicable to scaling technologies between laboratory, pilot, and commercial facilities. The advanced courses in genetic engineering, bioinformatics, genomics, proteomics, and analytical instrumentation prepare the graduates for a variety of career opportunities, including higher studies and research.
