The 5th Convocation of KLE Technological University - Hubballi (India) was a momentous occasion marked by insightful speeches, notable achievements, and the recognition of academic excellence. The event, held under the distinguished presence of Padma Shri A. S. Kiran Kumar, the former Chairman of ISRO - Indian Space Research Organization, emphasized the importance of adapting to the rapidly changing technological landscape. Kiran Kumar highlighted India's overall progress across various sectors and its imminent position as the third-largest economy. Kumar also shared India's ambitious plan to launch its own space station by 2030, creating new avenues for startups, engineers, and other professionals.

Dr. Ashok Shettar, the Vice Chancellor of KLE Technological University, reported significant strides made by the university in a short span. Notable achievements in research, sports, and other areas by both students and faculty were highlighted. Dr. Shettar commended the students for their outstanding performance in leading companies, considering them as valuable brand ambassadors for the university.

The convocation was officially opened by Dr. Prabhakar Kore, the Chancellor of KLE Technological University and Chairman of KLE Society .

The presence of principals, deans, and other department heads added to the importance of the occasion. The conferral of Ph.D. degrees upon nine esteemed faculty members added a prestigious dimension to the convocation, recognizing their scholarly contributions to their respective fields.

The convocation celebrated the graduation of a total of 1608 students, comprising 1293 undergraduates, 306 postgraduates, and 9 Ph.D. holders. The outstanding academic achievements were further highlighted by the distribution of 14 gold medals and 15 silver medals to deserving students.
