InCUB8, the flagship event of National Institute of Technology Karnataka (NITK) Surathkal, witnessed an outstanding performance by KLE Tech’s MakeinBVB team where they bag prizes in six out of eight competitions of the event.
Mentored under the KLE Centre for Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CTIE), Team MakeinBVB clinched the 1st place in Pitch Dunk, a business consultancy challenge where 40 teams tackle real-world challenges with KLE Technological University securing the top spot through an impressive strategic solution. They also won the 2nd prize in Case Link event, where KLE Tech stood strong competing against 100+ teams showcasing a strong analytical and creative solution. The team also clinched a 2nd place in Anunada, an event where KLE Tech has also been recognised for innovation by generating music from waste.
Apart from these significant accolades, KLE Tech also earned a Consolation prize in Arambh, where the university’s students have been appreciated for presenting impactful early-stage ideas.
At the Startup Expo, KLE Tech’s Ayush Kabbur’s ‘Offix’ was honoured as the Best Problem-Solving Startup.
And in the Pitch to VC event, Siddhant Rolli’s venture was ranked among the Top 8 nationally, securing a direct mentorship opportunity with venture capitalists.
